The PsychoEducational Consultant Group is committed to providing families with a variety of services to support their child’s growth and success. From the beginning stages of identification of need, to reevaluation of a child’s progress and growth, our focus is on supporting each family through their journey. We are committed to evaluating each child’s unique strengths, challenges, and learning styles while maintaining the highest level of integrity and empathy. Our office is a family-friendly environment, and provides us the time and opportunity to meet with families given their scheduling needs.

Psychoeducational Evaluations

As licensed school psychologists, our expertise lies in our ability to evaluate children utilizing both standardized assessment measures and a variety of clinical procedures. Our experience in working within public school systems has prepared us in identifying important information needed by your child’s school or pediatrician during the decision making process. We will work with you to help achieve the best outcome while keeping your child’s unique needs in mind.

The psychoeducational evaluation process involves a commitment from your family. While the focus of the evaluation is your child, parents are an integral part of the process. You are an expert on your child, and know them better than anyone else. You have a wealth of information about your child, and can help us learn about their experiences at home and school. Above all, you are your child’s best advocate. You can assist us by discussing your concerns, answering questions, completing a developmental history, and providing information located within their school records.

We complete comprehensive evaluations for the following areas of need:

  • Gifted
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Attention Disorders
  • Developmental Delays
  • Kindergarten Readiness
  • College and Graduate School entrance examination accommodations (e.g., SAT, ACT, GRE, etc.)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Social-Emotional and Behavioral Functioning
  • Cognitive/Adaptive Impairments
