NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness,nation's largest organization for people with mental illness and their families. This website provides information and links for public education, activities, peer education and support, raising awareness, state and federal advocacy, and more.

Mental Health America
Website for Mental Health America (formerly known as the National Mental Health Association), an organization of more than 320 affiliates nationwide dedicated to helping people live "mentally healthier lives". This site is divided into 3 main areas: Information (fact sheets, mental health topics, disorders and treatments, medication, FAQ's, etc.), Help (crisis phone line, finding help, paying for care, treatment options, etc.), and Action (mental health policy issues A-Z, local involvement, event calendars, etc.). The goal of this site is to educate individuals on how to protect and improve their mental health, and to know when to seek help for themselves or someone close to them.
