A thorough evaluation can be one of the most important investments you make in your child’s education. The fee for your child’s evaluation will vary based on the uniqueness of their case. During the appointment intake process, you will be quoted a rate based on the areas of need discussed. By the end of the evaluation process, you will be provided a comprehensive report with detailed information about your child’s strengths and challenges. In addition, we will provide you with practical suggestions to help your child at home and at school. Results from the evaluation may also assist your child’s pediatrician and/or school system to implement any necessary next steps. An itemized bill for services will be provided during the feedback session.”

Our fees for a standard psychoeducational evaluation cover the following:

  •   Consultation and evaluation sessions
  •   Interviews with parents, child, and/or teacher(s)
  •   Administration of intellectual, processing, achievement, and/or additional evaluation measures
  •   Comprehensive report with test results, interpretation, and recommendations
  •   Conference in our office to discuss the evaluation results

Payment is due upon service. Our fees are the sole responsibility of the child’s family. We do not bill insurance companies for evaluation costs. However, our fees may be considered an appropriate medical expense through a flexible spending account (FSA). Please check with your employer to determine the guidelines for reimbursed expenses through your flexible spending account.

Payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card. When necessary, a return check fee for the amount of the check plus a return check charge of $25 will be applied to your account. Payments that are not made within 60 days of becoming due, will accrue interest on the unpaid amount from that date forward at the highest rate allowable by law. The client will be obligated to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney’s fees when necessary.
